Celebrate America Contest

How are you celebrating America’s 250th birthday? We want to see it!

Draw a picture.
Write a poem.
Compose a song.
Make a costume.
Tell a story.
Create a video.

We are accepting entries now from all K-12 students. Selected entries will be featured on this website for others to appreciate. Each month starting in 2026, we will choose one entry to receive a cash prize.

Use your creativity to show us what America means to you.

Rules of Entry

  • Students in K-12 are eligible to submit one entry per person.

  • Each entry must be the work of the student. Text, images, video, music, or other content generated with artificial intelligence tools are not allowed.

  • Each entry should connect with American history, but it does not have to relate directly to 1776, the Declaration of Independence, or the American Revolution.
